“Amor” is Spanish for “love”. “Y” is Spanish for the conjunction “and”. “Lucha” is Spanish for “struggle”. Put it all together and you get “Love and Struggle”. Amor Y Lucha Records is a DIY label run out of Washington, DC. Amor Y Lucha started becoming a reality in the first days of 2001 and grew out of a love for the music and people in international DIY punk community. Recent releases from Birds & Wires, Zegota and Illuminati.
