Dirty Old Man Records is a newish punk rock label, based in Birmingham, UK. Starting in November 2008. Run by the people who previously ran Punk Shit Records, namely Rich Lard with support from Huggy. The label is not open for loads of bands to keep sending requests to release stuff, the finances are low and releases will be few and far between unless of course people start to support underground punk bands by buying their cd’s then maybe, but time will tell. The label is for bands to get their albums released, does not wipe their arses for them, they must promote themselves and be hardworking. This label will be run as Punk Shit was, music over profit as any money made will be used to put out the next release, the cd’s will be as cheap as possible. Recent releases from The Septic Psychos, Greenland Whalefishers and Ratmonkey.

Cherry Red Records is one of the UK’s leading independent labels after being established by Iain McNay at the height of the first wave of punk in 1978. More than 30 years later we have become synonymous with quality product and innovative ideas. With over three decades of experience, we are still thriving, with an expansive catalogue.
